Q:  Where is the Simple4car counter located?

A:  Simple4car is independent, not an agent for any particular car rental company. The name and address of the car rental company is provided at the top of the voucher along with the location information for the supplier.

Q:  I did not receive my voucher, how can I obtain the voucher?

A:  Please visit information in the My Booking section and view a printable copy of the voucher.

Q:  Can you guarantee that the car on the voucher is the car I am going to receive?

A:  Simple4car, like all car rental companies, cannot guarantee a specific make or model. We do guarantee the car category. A specific model may be requested, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Q:  Is an International Drivers License mandatory in Europe?

A:  International Drivers License is mandatory in several countries and is highly recommended when renting in a country where English is not the primary language.

Q:  Can I cancel a reservation?

A:  You are able to cancel your booking if it was originally made on the website. Please visit My Bookings section on the home page of our website to cancel a booking.
Cancellation charges are:
• 2-0 day before  pickup date - The entire deposit of confirmed reservation
• 6-3 days before  pickup date - €10.00
• or more days before pickup date – administration fee €5.00
No Show - The entire deposit of confirmed reservation

Q:  What do I need to pick up my car?

A:  Upon collection of your vehicle the lead driver must produce their Simple4car car rental voucher, a valid credit card, passport and their driving licence.

Q:  What if my flight is delayed? Why do I have to give flight numbers?

A:  It is extremely important that you provide us with your flight number if you are collecting your vehicle from an airport. In the event that your flight is delayed our car rental partner will wait for you to arrive, although this may incur an out of hours charge payable locally.

Q:  What do I do if I have an accident?

A:  In the event of an accident or any mechanical difficulties involving your car, it is important that details are reported to our local car rental partner within 24 hours.
In the event of an accident you must also complete an accident report form by the end of the rental period. Local police should also be notified in the case of accidents and a signed police report obtained. Full details of third parties should also be obtained.
Our local car rental partner must give authority to repair or replace a vehicle. Their name and contact details are shown on your voucher and rental agreement.
You should retain copies of all rental documentation in the event an insurance company is involved. Your insurance cover may be invalidated if this procedure is not followed correctly and this may prejudice any claim for compensation.
A check-in form must be signed on return of the vehicle. Failure to do so may delay the investigation of disputes regarding damage excess charges.

Q:  I forgot my voucher, what happens next?

A:  If you do not take the correct paperwork when picking up the vehicle, then the supplier may refuse to rent the vehicle to you. Please visit information in the My Booking section and view a printable copy of the voucher.

Q:  What does it mean when my car is “On Request“?

A:  The “On Request” status requires us to contact the local car rental partner in order to confirm availability of your choice of car. During the booking stage of the online process, all “On Request“cars will be highlighted. You will then be contacted within the following 2 working days, advising whether the car is available or not.

Q:   What is a voucher?

A:  Your car rental voucher is a document which the supplier of your rental vehicle requires as proof of prepaid. It is imperative that this is taken with you!

Q:  Can I request a specific car model?

A:  At time of booking you may request your preference. A particular car model cannot be guaranteed, as we are unable to predict availability of a specific model on a given day. If your specific car preference is not available, you will receive a comparable vehicle from the same car class you reserved.

Q:  What do I need to pick-up my car?

A:  The Rental voucher Simple4Car (Simple4car cannot be held responsible for rentals rejected if a voucher is not presented)

Q:  Can I amend my booking?

A:  You can make many changes to your reservation. Details such as customer name, pick-up location, pick-up date, drop-off location, drop-off date, car selected and flight number.
